Neurological Rehabilitation FAQ

Still have a question? Call us and a member of our team will help.

Does rehab replace my neurologist?

No. Your neurologist or physician manages your diagnosis and medications. We focus on your movement, balance, strength, and daily tasks, and we are happy to share updates with them.

How long does neurological rehab take?

It varies from person to person and depends on your condition and goals. Some people notice changes in a few weeks, while others benefit from therapy over several months. We review your progress with you regularly.

How often will I need to come in?

That depends on your needs and energy level. We set a schedule with you that is realistic and adjust it as you go.

Can rehab help if my condition is long-term?

Yes. With a condition like Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis, rehab focuses on keeping you as strong, steady, and independent as possible. Many people come back for a tune-up when their needs change.

Can I keep working on this at home?

Yes. We give you a home exercise program and practical strategies for daily tasks, made to be safe for you to do between visits.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We accept most major plans, including Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare, and we verify your benefits before your first visit. Call (908) 282-3737 and we will check your coverage.
